Inky blue fruit, smoke, licorice and violets meld into the generous finish. There is a slight touch of greenness here, but otherwise, this is a solid effort. The blend is 76% Merlot, 19% Cabernets and 5% Petit Verdot.

The Bordeaux method of blending quality grape varietals is something which has long been imitated and envied around the world.
