100% Viognier. 2021 was the first vintage of white Pour de Vrai. It comes from certified-organic estate vines just northwest of the ancient city of Nîmes and just south of the Cévennes mountain range. The vines range from 10-30 years old, are planted on varying clay-limestone soils and have a generally eastern exposure. The terrain is flat to moderately hilly, with the vineyards (and cereal fields) surrounded by garrigue and woods. The bunches are direct-pressed and fermented with native yeasts and without sulfur in cement tanks. The wine is bottled while fermenting and finishes fermentation dry and around 11-11.5%. It is bottled unfiltered, unsulfured and crown-capped.

Varietal: Champagne Blend

There are few wine regions of the world with as much influence or fame as that of Champagne in France. The sparkling wines from this special area have long been associated with excellence and magnificent flavors, and much of their success has been down to the careful blending of fine grape varietals in order to achieve spectacular results.
