There are nutmeg and cedar touches to the restrained pear fruit here. Medium-bodied, elegant and refined on the palate, the oak is used with great skill to shape the wine, which is classically styled, precise and highly enjoyable. Organically grown across three lieux-dits: La Crau, La Nerthe and La Rigole. Matured in oak barrels of various sizes and aged for six months, including 20% new oak. Drinking Window: 2022 - 2028

Ripe and fresh, with bright melon, white peach and yellow apple notes laced with honeysuckle and verbena. Just a kiss of meringue on the finish completes this tasty offering. Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc. Drink now through 2027. 2,900 cases made, 500 cases imported.

Lively aromas of honeysuckle, yellow apple, white peach, cedar and discreet vanilla introduce the 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc. It is a medium to full-bodied, discreetly oily-textured white with a juicy finish.
Winery
Beautiful bright pale gold color with green highlights. On the nose there are marked notes of citrus (yellow lemon) mixed with floral accents (linden) with aromas of fruit from the orchard. In the mouth: tension, always on a fresh and lemony register! The woodiness disappears in finesse behind the sharpness of the wine. The finish, all in elegance, on vegetable touches, provides a feeling of balance and purity!

Varietal: White Rhone Blend

The aromatic and deliciously flavored blended white wines of France's Rhone region have gone down in history as some of the finest in the world. The careful blending process has been gradually perfected over the centuries, and today, it is mainly Viognier, Rousanne, Marsanne and Grenache Blanc varietal grapes which are used in the production of the blended white wines of the Rhone. These grapes work together beautifully, with all but Grenache Blanc holding delightfully fruity and floral notes, full of summery flavors of honeysuckle and peach, and a relatively low acidity. The Grenache Blanc, on the other hand, is an acidic grape with a high sugar content, and is used in most blended Rhone wines to add body and length to the blend, something which is admired by vintners and wine enthusiasts around the world.

Region: Rhone Valley

There are few wine regions in the world with a history as long and illustrious as that of the Rhone Valley in France. For over two thousand years, wines have been produced in this region, benefited by the excellent, mineral-rich soils of the region, and the varied climate which allows a wide range of grape varietals to grow. The Rhone Valley is now split into two quite separate regions, with the north part being characterized by its cooler, continental climate and the limited number of grape varietals grown, and the southern sub-region being perfect for growing a wide range of grapes, and producing an exciting number of different wine styles. The Rhone Valley is associated with elegant, flavorful wines, and certain grape varietals such as Viognier and Syrah, which are adept at expressing the finer features of their terroir.
