This black-cherry-colored wine features a spicy nose of clove and anise with a back drop of cherry aromas. It is smooth on the palate, with flavors of black raspberry, Morello cherry, anise seed and buttered toffee. Brightness remains on the palate, overlaid by opulent tannins that fade into a lingering spicy finish.

This dense red features a solid structure of firm tannins and balsamic acidity. Currant, cocoa, black olive and loamy earth flavors are slightly muted, but the finish is fresh, revealing floral and mineral notes. Best from 2022 through 2035. 660 cases made, 70 cases imported.
